Sponsor A Brahman To Substitute For Your Ekadasi Vigil

In Hari Bhakti Vilasa, it is stated that when a person is unable to follow the important Ekadasi Vrata, then a "son or Brahman can substitute in their place". This means, that by giving a small donation, you can have a Brahman follow the Ekadasi Vrata in your place, thus granting you incredible benefits without having to follow the Vrata yourself!

As soon as we receive your donation, we will ask you for your name, gender, and birthdate. Then we will locate a suitable Brahman who is willing to dedicate the performance of one Ekadasi Vrata for you.

We follow Ekadasi Vrata in a group, and this festival takes place once every 2 weeks or twice every month. The entire vrata takes 3 days, and the second day is the most significant. On the second day, our performers will fast according to the rules, stay awake all night, and perform devotional activities such as Japa, arotik, Bhajans, reading scriptures and Kirtan in order to keep Vigil during the vrata. During the Vigil, we perform Sarvatobhadra Mandala with Sri Visnu in the center, Arotik of Gaura Nitai every 3 hours, fire yajna, bhajans, japa, reading of scriptures, singing, dancing, and other devotional activities. Sometimes we even light fireworks!

After the Vrata, we will send you a photo of the Brahman who substituted for your Ekadasi, as well as a short letter from him that describes his feelings, visions (if any), and other comments.
