(0 vote) The Ten Avatars Used By Krishnas by Victor Epand. The ten incarnations of Vishnu are known as the most famous of all the divine incarnations of Rama, whose life has been depicted in the Ramayana, and in the Krishna, whose life has been depicted in the Mahabharata and the Srimad Bhagavatam.
The Bhagavad Gita, which contains many of the spiritual teachings of Krishna, is one of the most widely read scriptures in the Hindu customs and society. Mat... products, articles
(0 vote) Krishna is the Reservoir of all Beauty and Krishna's Energies by Victor Epand. Krishna, the Supreme Lord, has three types of energies: 1. Material, 2. Spiritual, and 3. Marginal. The material energy is the dull matter that has no consciousness. The spiritual energy is the conscious energy that is devoted to His service. The marginal energy consists of the living entities--individual souls, such as ourselves, that have the choice of either identifying with matter or spirit.

(0 vote) We Should Appreciate All Services Done for Krishna Victor Epand This mood of intolerance of others service represents an insecurity. If we are truly convinced about the potency of our service, we don't need to belittle others. We should appreciate all services done for Krishna. Its like the story of Hanuman and the spider which Srila Prabhupada told us. Both the spider and Hanuman were engaged in building the bridge to Sri Lanka. Of course the spi... products, articles
(0 vote) More On Chanting Properly To Krishna Victor Epand It is also hard for me to relate when someone says something like: "That was an ecstatic kirtan," which indicates some other kirtan wasn't ecstatic or that someone thinks they have to travel hundreds or thousands of miles to experience an "Ecstatic Kirtan." Ecstatic Kirtans are there for everyone all the time. Of course when we are presenting Krishna consciousness to the public it is ... products, articles
(0 vote) Why Krishna Consciousness Is Joyfully Performed by Victor Epand. Last night we had a interesting discussion about austerities. My understanding is that Krishna consciousness is meant to be "joyfully performed." In other words, whatever austerities that we may execute should be done joyfully or happily. For many this appears to be a tall order. There are different motivations that people have for performing austerities. Here are some of them that I can think of... products, articles
(0 vote) Better Ways Of Eating For Krishna And Prabhupada Victor Epand Now comes the controversial part where I attempt to explain how many of our habits (that we confuse with Kcon) or activities may be harming us or at least not contributing to our health. Lets take eating for example. Most of us were brought up in Kcon eating tons of Halvah, Sweet Rice, fried foods, etc. We thought: Its prasadam, so how can it be bad for our bodies?"
Well I got news f... products, articles
(0 vote) Ways To Become Happy By Chanting The Names of Krishna Victor Epand The names of Krishna are the repository of all happiness. They are the greatest wealth! If we chant properly, we will not experience material miseries (spiritual miseries like the feeling of intense separation from Krishna are another thing!). So the question arises as to how we can chant nicely, even if we are not yet pure devotees. How can we control the mind? How can we keep oursel... products, articles
(0 vote) Krishna's Body is Spiritual and No Loss of Diminution by Victor Epand. Krishna's Body is Spiritual. Krishna is non-different from His body. His body is eternal, full of bliss, and knowledge. He never changes His body, but in His selfsame body appears in different ways, according to His desires, in His various incarnations .This is the same as a dramatic artist who can expertly assume different roles according to the scripts which he is called upon to perform. It is ... products, articles

"Om Salutations and Prostrations to Lord Ganesha"
"This mantra invokes the Lord Ganesha to remove every impediment in your life and in your works. By constant meditation on this mantra, all obstacles and blocked energy in your physical and astral bodies are released. He brings writing and knowledge. But he is most often known as the "Breaker of Obstacles". This does not mean that if something blocks your way to success that appealing to Ganesh will result in your thundering through your opposition like some great juggernaut (a word derived from the name of a Hindu deity Jaganath). Rather, Ganesh breaks obstacles by working around them. He may not help you fix a relationship, but He might help you find a new one. He might not get you a raise at work, but you might get a job offer from another company for more money. Ganesh is a warrior, but is not into fighting for fighting's sake. Indeed, that is why he lost his head and it had to be replaced with the head of a elephant. Rather, He helps you find other ways of overcoming obstacles. The real obstacles He breaks are those which prevent you from recognizing alternative solutions." http://indopaganproject.tripod.com/id...
"Ganesha mantras are siddhi mantras . Each mantra contains certain specific powers of Lord Ganesha. When chanted with the proper pranayama (rhythmic breathing) and sincere devotion, they will yield good results. In general, Ganesha mantras will ward off all evil and bless the devotee with abundance, prudence and success. Evil spirits dare not enter the home or the mind of the devotee where Ganesha mantras are recited.

"One more point to remember is that one should bathe or wash the limbs before sitting for repetition of the mantra. Also, one should do three or more pranayama before beginning the mantra. The minimum repetition of the mantra should be one full mala, or 108 times. When this is done at a fixed hour and place regularly for 48 days, it becomes an upasana, which means intense meditation, that will yield siddhis, or spiritual powers. Another warning to bear in mind is that one should use those powers only for healing the sick and other such selfless actions for the benefit of mankind. These powers should not be misused. Misuse of power may bring the curse of the asuras.
"This is a mantra from Ganapati Upanishad. One may always use it before beginning a journey, a new course in school, new career or job, or before entering into any new contract or business so that impediments are removed and your endeavor may be crowned with success." - http://www.himalayanacademy.com/resou...
